Movie Review: Coraline

Coraline is the latest stop-motion tale to tumble from the surreal mind of director Henry Selick, and if you are a fan of James and the Giant Peach or The Nightmare Before Christmas, this is a film for you - even if you consider yourself a "grownup." But, of course, Coraline wouldn't be mentioned here if it weren't for a mysterious cat that helps her along her way, and plays a key role in the film's final scenes. Do yourself and your inner child a favor and spend an afternoon with Coraline - you could wait for DVD, but the in-theater 3D experience is a must. Read more about black cats in film in this post.
