The quaint town of Catskill hosts an annual summer festival showcasing different artists' work in a unique way. All participating artists must create their masterpiece on larger-than-life porcelain cats. These cats end up displayed outside on the city's main streets. An auction at the end of the summer benefits local students. This year's festival will ramp up on Memorial Day weekend. The cat pictured here is "DaVINCI Cat" submitted by Mary Szmidt during last year's festival.
