Black Cat Rescue

Black Cat Rescue - As the name suggests, this new charity emphasizes compassion for black kitties while promoting the adoption of all homeless cats. One such treasure is Betty (pictured), a sable-furred beauty formerly thought of as feral, but discovered to be a recovering stray. If you live in the Boston, MA area, you can pay her a visit, and her profile on Petfinder includes a video. Bookmark the Black Cat Rescue site to stay current on their upcoming events and don't be shy when thinking about donations. By the way, Betty is a polydactyl - just like the Hemingway cats!
