Truth vs. Myth

A superstition is a belief or notion not based on reason or experience; an urban myth is a form of modern folklore thought to be true by those circulating it. We've all heard the one that goes: "A dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's." If you thought that was true, think again. Writer Rene Knapp contributes to the Norwich Bulletin, and explains away some very common myths, including a few surrounding our favorite sable-furred friends.

Great pic! Love your blog, and I am superstitious that black cats bring good luck! And there is nothing wrong with Friday the 13th!
