Nine-year-old Archie is a black cat with strange luck. Six months ago, he hitchhiked (by mistake) miles from home, but thanks to a final re-check of shelters by his caretaker on Oct. 6th, the two reunited and Archie enjoyed a happy homecoming. Born on April Fool's Day the only black cat of an all-white-cat litter, Archie owes his namesake and unbeatable spirit to the Archie Bunker of 1970s TV fame.
