A woman driving from Anaheim to Irvine in Los Angeles pulled over 14 miles into her trip to make an astonishing discovery. Under the hood, wedged in a tight spot, crouched one perplexed black kitty. Thanks to dishsoap and a brave veterinarian, rescuers coaxed the cat to safety. Sadly, even though Miles (as he would be dubbed), is microchipped, his owners did not return calls. So he's up for adoption. Hopefully his next caretaker will keep him safe indoors.
