When New York resident Vicki Chaffee adopted four-week-old Rosa, a trip to the vet confirmed the kitten had suffered a brain injury and would need extra care. Sometime later, Vicki suffered a traumatic brain injury in a serious car accident. Now, Vicki draws inspiration from Rosa's determination and positive attitude. Vicki says, "She is happy, and she is my inspiration. If she can do it, then I shouldn't feel so bad about myself."
