A Foster Mom Fills In

So this isn't necessarily a story about a black cat, but, black dogs also get passed over at shelters for the same reasons as their feline counterparts. And this story is a good one because the cat's behavior is unexpected. While reading the story you may wonder, are there any significant nutritional differences between cat and dog milk, because cats are carnivores and dogs are omnivores? Apparently workers at the Colbert County Animal Shelter in Alabama don't think so.

If a dog that uses a litter box isn't an incentive to adopt one then I don't know what is!

I heard about yr site on sfgate.com and I think it's fantastic! I have a black cat named Venus with a small white spot on her belly.

Thank you, and I'm happy you enjoy the site. Have you checked out the entry "Saving Cosmo"? It is my current favorite.
