The E.F.S. (Elite Feral Squad)

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) tried everything to combat a persistent criminal infestation - to no avail. The outlaw group remained elusive, aided by their craftiness and agility, despite numerous attempts at trapping them. So the LAPD brought in an elite group - of feral cats. Yes, LAPD police stations were besieged by rodents, and The Working Cats program of Voice for the Animals came to the rescue. Cats too feral for shelters were selected and distributed to various police stations. There they were acclimated before being released. Read about the results here.
