A new children's book from a hurricane Katrina survivor seeks to promote awareness of the storm's aftermath through a message of hope and triumph. All illustrations in the book were created by the author in a post-Katrina FEMA trailer. She says she hopes to educate children about the event as well as the culture of New Orleans.
