Rare Black Bobcat Caught in Florida

A frantic call to the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary from a Florida woman put personnel on edge; she claimed that a "black panther" remained in her yard after killing her pet turkey. When wildlife workers arrived they found the culprit was a very rare Black Bobcat. Less than a dozen have been recorded, and the first was discovered only 70 years ago. DNA tests should confirm it is of the Bobcat family, and its captors plan to return it to the wild.
